At times when things are tough and it has been a rough a bumpy road for us, it can be really easy to lose sight of things. Lately my family has been jumping over hurdles left and right. One hardship after another keeps coming our way. Lately I have felt so overwhelmed with emotion and at times I feel like I am "drowning". But then all I have to do is to walk into the house after school and scoop Addison up, and the days worries just melt away.
Thankfully, things are finally starting to move forward. We are getting the boxes packed. Closing doors on the past and looking to the future. We are so truly blessed and during tough times you can sometimes forget that, I know from time to time I do. Terry, Addison, and I would not be where we are today without our amazing family. My mom has been our true savior!!! She has been there always when we need her no matter what time day or night. Whenever we need something we don't even have to ask, just consider it done. We don't know what we would do without her. She is our guardian angel. My dad has been a god send too, Terry and I are so thankful that he can watch Addison for us during the day. That is a huge relief for us. We have so many friends and family to say thank you to, that helped out, took care of us, and prayed for us during this last year and half. Thank you so much!
I do also think that this year has made our marriage stronger and brought us closer. We have come across some obstacles and held each others hand through it all. I am so thankful and in love with my husband. He is always there for Addison and I and I don't know what I would do with out him.
We have learned so many things these last 5 months. But, we know there is so much more to come for us. So I have to remember when things are hard,we will remember all the amazing things that we have and the people that we are so lucky to have in our life. Because just when you think times are tough,you find out there are people that are in a worse place than you. And then all you can do is be thankful!
